Who I Am
Safara Cooper
I’m a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula with nearly a decade of experience supporting families through the early months of parenthood. Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of working with growing families across Los Angeles, providing calm, confident care rooted in evidence-based practices and a deep respect for each baby’s individual needs.
My background includes birth support, postpartum support, and specialized newborn care. This has given me a unique understanding of the full transition into life with a new baby. From those first sleepy days at home to establishing healthy rhythms and routines, I’ve helped parents navigate it all with clarity, reassurance, and practical guidance.
Over the years, I’ve trained extensively in newborn care, infant sleep, lactation-friendly support, babywearing, and gentle developmental approaches. I bring a family-centered philosophy to my work: nurturing babies, empowering parents, and creating peaceful nights that set the foundation for long-term sleep health.
I believe that restful nights aren’t just about schedules, they’re about confidence, connection, and having the right support at the right time. My goal is to make those early weeks feel manageable, supported, and even enjoyable as your little one learns to settle and thrive.
